Hey there!
It’s been yet another week where I am feeling pumped. I do love this time of year and it always seems like I am the most productive, but the question is have I managed to maintain the momentum of the last few weeks?
Well, let’s break it down.
MONDAY 12TH OCTOBER 2026
I started out the week still buzzing from what happened last Thursday. Oh, you’re wondering what that is, well that would be a massive spoiler, but let’s just say I filmed something very special to me for full-circle reasons I’ll explain at a later date.
Either way, that boost in adrenaline helped me smash 3 more scenes into the pot.
TUESDAY 13TH OCTOBER 2026
I don’t know what it is, and it might have something to do with the fact that this part of the book contains some of my favourite moments in the story, but I rinsed through another 3 on this day.
WEDNESDAY 14TH OCTOBER 2026
This was the trickiest of the three, because I only had an hour and a half to work because I needed to do some editing for the film I was in back in August. That being said I wanted to try and get at least 1 scene done so we could keep things moving at a nice steady pace.
But I’m happy to say, after looking through the plans, the next few scenes were already so close that I managed to get 2 more scenes completed!
That puts me at 8 whole scenes for this week and that puts us at a final score of 78% completed!
Not only does that mean you’re getting two reveals early next week (the synopsis and something else that I’ll keep secret for now), it also means I can give you a very exciting date to remember…
When do I think I’ll finish?
Well, based on my plans I actually think that this draft will be finished on Friday 30th October 2026.
I’m intending to work five full days on the book during the final week and based on my current goal it seems more than doable, so we shall watch this space.
