Hey there!
Can you believe another week has gone by?
And what a rollercoaster of a week it has been!
Things haven’t always gone according to plan, but the most exciting news of the week is that we have surpassed the 25% mark, meaning that next week there will be a BIG title reveal over on the 2ToRamble channel.
To make it a little more fun, I’ve made it into a bit of a guessing game, so as of Monday, clues will start to drop on the 2ToRamble channel, and the winners will get themselves a shout out so keep your eyes peeled.
So let’s talk about this week’s shenanigans.
Monday 17th August 2026
I started this one with the goal of editing two scenes before quickly realising one of these would actually be a total rewrite. In the end, I got one done, AND planned the scene ready to write on Tuesday (the process of which I’ll explain to you in tomorrow’s video over on the YouTube channel).
Tuesday 18th August 2026
There was a bit of a change of plan on this one. See, I’m producing and acting in a short film on Friday and I had a bunch of work to get done and the sheer idea of sitting down to write something new seemed a bit of a stretch so I skipped the set of scenes that I’d be editing and moved to the next part in the story that just needed some light edits.
Doing this meant I got 2 more scenes in the tank!
Wednesday 19th August 2026
This one was both the most exciting and the most disappointing day. On the one hand, I edited 1 scene which took me up to the 25% total, on the other I didn’t hit my goal of 2 scenes within the day, and had spent the whole week hoping we could get a really productive one in this week.
As it stands, though, progress is progress, and I’ll take the good with the bad.
Thursday 20th August 2026
It’s been another crazy day, but the scene I was editing today felt really immersive and I was so happy reading it back because I remember when I first put pen to paper I was worried I would make it bland, though I had a great time reading at least.
Despite this there was a lot of other work to do, so I only managed one scene.
Which puts us at a grand total of 26% completion and sets us up for a very exciting time next week. Speaking of which…
I need you!
